THE STORY:
During the 19th century, the most famous Italian jeweler, who every European on the Grand Tour looked for, was Castellani. He became famous for his research into the ancient Etruscans and the methods they used to create superbly fine filigree gold work. The results of his efforts paid off and were known as Etruscan Revival jewelry.
This pair of earrings is the epitome of fabulous Etruscan Revival jewelry at its very best.
Created in rich 18k gold around 1880, they offer everything collectors chase: articulated geometric elements that move beautifully and pre-date the Art Deco period; intricate filigree wirework, the symbol of Etruscan Revival craftsmanship; and the coveted pairing of turquoise and pearls, a combination that matches every outfit and complexion. Their workmanship is unmistakably high‑end, and their condition makes them even rarer.
These earrings instantly signal taste, history, and individuality—true conversation pieces that elevate any collection. If you want jewelry with presence, provenance, and artistry, these are the ones to claim.
