Antique Staffordshire butter vegetable dish Chinoiserie blue white (1975)

Blue and white Chinoiserie butter or vegetable dish / tray and cover.  Ceramic pottery. Made Staffordshire, England, 19th century.

Measures

3inches to top of lid and 7 7/8inches long.

Description:

 Classic blue and white Old Staffordshire pottery.
Tray or dish rectangular shape with canted corners. Semi-circular provision for a ladle to go through the domed lid.  Chinoiserie pattern with pagodas, bridges,boats on the water, pseudo palm trees and houses in the distance.  Hooked, moulded handle in shades of blue.

Marks:

No known mark - just an impressed symbol. 

Condition:

Very good condition. No chips/cracks/damage of any sort.
