Antique 1700'S Chinese cera...

Earthenware, green glazed water pot.

Made in China, 18th century.

Measures 7 3/4 inches tall and approx 5 3/4 inches accross.

Hexagonal form with deep crevaces at the join of each facet.

Gabled / stirrup ridge on top forms handle.

Short spout.

Small, round opening on lid with fitted, shaped stopper.

Most of the surface is glazed in an emerald green colour - highly attractive.

The bottom rim, about 1/4 inch (1cm approx) was left unglazed altogether and the border adjacent to this is a very deep, almost black shade.

Very good condition.
