Vintage Tiffany & Co Sterling Silver Miniature Doctor's Bag Pill Box (5569)

Vintage pill box in the form of a doctor's bag. Sterling silver. Made by Tiffany & Co. Just what the doctor ordered! 

Measurements:

4.75cm (1 3/4inches) long; weighs 38.1 grams (1.33oz oz).  

Description:

Modeled as a traditional Gladstone-style medical bag.  Classic doctor's case for those who remember the days when doctors paid house calls or home visits and carried large bags full of meds and medical examining equipment. Sturdy double handle forms the clasp that snaps shut securely.  Wonderful detail and realism — right down to the clasp and stitching lines.  
Pill box - perfect for carrying your medications or small trinkets. 
Beautifully made and very sturdy. Lightly engraved monogram MR for the previous owner. 

Marks:

the clasp has the T&CO mark. Underneath are two marks: TIFFANY & CO 925 and PHILIPPINES.  

Condition:
