Vintage double gypsy ring 18k Gold Pink Tourmaline French Unisex Wedding (6782)

Vintage double gypsy ring. 18k gold, pink tourmalines. Made in France, 20th century. Suitable for a man or woman and would make a great wedding ring.

Weight is 11.3 grams. US size 8.75. 

Description :  

This ring is a variation on the style the French call toi et moi (you and me), or a crossover ring in English.  Modelled gold scrolls passing one another and each set at the widest part with a tourmaline in a pulled up gold mount. The ring is very solidly made and has a great look. French workmanship. Lovely pink color. Versatile -  This ring would make a great wedding or everyday ring. It is unisex - suitable for a man or a woman. 

Marks and Metal:

French hallmarks include diamond-shaped lozenge for maker. Another mark is not clearly legible - looks like the horse's head, but that was only used until 1919 and we believe the ring was made later in the century.   

Condition:
