It was done in a school for miniature artists, exactly as miniatures were painted hundreds of years ago.

A traditionally blue Krishna, his golden crown with peacock feathers sits with his consort Radha and other gopis / cowgirls. They sit besides a stream in the midst of a beautiful garden or landscape. Luscious flowers and foliage with exotic long-tailed birds. Each figure beautifully bejewelled with pearls and rubies. Gold details, highlights and outlines. Like most miniature Indian paintings, the artist has managed to combine physical beauty with deep spirituality.
The painting has yellow and red borders and is surrounded by flowing script.
