Vintage Earrings 18k Gold Diamonds Enamel 2bl Hearts Ear Clips w Appraisal (6014

Vintage Modernist Earrings Ear Clips. 18k yellow gold, enamel and diamonds. French hallmarks, but exact origin unknown. Made circa 1960-80's.

 

Measurements: approximately 1 5/8 inches (4cm) long. Weigh 30 grams. .60ct diamonds VS in clarity and G-H in color.

 

A gorgeous pair of double heart earrings. Surmounts and drops are puffy hearts connected by an arc of gold and diamonds. The hearts are enamelled in trellises of multicolored enamel - bright royal blue, red, green and orange-yellow. Colors glow and shine. Clip-ons make the earrings perfect for the lady who does not have pierced ears.

 

Marks: there are 3 marks on the backs: 750 for 18k gold; Owl - French hallmark for 18k gold of unknown origin (usually European) and a rectangular mark. Gold was acid tested to ensure purity.

 

Condition: Negligible wear commensurate with age. Enamel is in very good shape considering its delicacy. Please see enlarged pictures for details and ask questions, which we will do our best to answer.
