Vintage bracelet. 18k gold. Made by Gioielleria Gobbi of Milan, Italy, 2nd half of the 20th century.

Measurements: Weight is 11.8 grams. Length is approximately 6 3/4 inches (17cm).

Description : Elephants, especially with their trunks up are known to be symbols of good luck. Here, we have a family of elephants - Father, mother and baby elephant in a row, representing not only luck, but family, love and order. Graduated in size, trunks curled and raised, they walk peacefully in single file. Behind Baby Elephant and in front of Daddy Elephant are fine gold chains - 6 on either side, that complete the bracelet, ending in a secure lobster claw clasp.
Tiny diamond set in eye of each elephant.

Marks and Metal: Back of middle elephant is marked 750 (for 18k gold) Italian hallmarks consist of a star, a 3-digit number identifying the maker, MI identifying the province (Milan). Finally, the name GOBBI 1842 engraved underneath the above.

Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
