THE STORY:
Cartier has produced multistrand pearl chokers since the early 20th century, especially during the Belle Époque and Art Deco eras. While this necklace is clearly later, the individually knotted pearls and fine workmanship of the Cartier logo and clasp indicate a high value, luxury item. While this necklace can be worn with a business suit, to a ball or an elegant dinner, it is also perfectly suitable for a bride on her wedding day.
