Antique Vintage silver carousel toy spinning top elephant lion zebra India (5744)

Antique Vintage carousel toy spinning top. Silver animals. Made in India, early 1900's (circa 1920-1940).  

Measurements:

approximately 4 inches high in total. Weighs 68.1grams. 

Description:

A pair of foliage chased parallel rings - one forming the base, the other suspending the animals with a narrow, conical central stand. 4 silver animals are suspended: lion, zebra, elephant and bird. Suspended from simple chains. Each animal has a silver base - 3 of them are oval and one is hexagonal (under the bird).  
The central cone spins and the animals fly around it. 

Marks:

the oval bases have engraved T97 under them. There doesn't appear to be a mark under the bird.  

Condition:
