Antique Vintage Chinese Ring 22k Gold Jade Dragons Foo Dogs Unisex (7125)

Antique Vintage ring. Very high carat gold (see below) and jade. Made in China, circa 1920. Unisex - suitable for a man or a woman. Measurements: Weight is 6.6 grams. Length of bezel approximately 1 inch (25mm). US size 6 1/8. Description : Navette shaped ring. An elongated oval with pointy ends, the jade is of a lovely, homogenous green color. It is enclosed by a pair of dragons or foo dogs with snake-like outstretched wings and zig-zag pointy beards. Black eyes - too small to test. Great figural design and great design contrasting smoothe green jade with detailed gold. Suitable for a man or a woman. Lower part of shank, below the shoulders appears to be replaced. Marks and Metal: No marks. We acid tested the bezel, which is at least 22k gold. Often these Chinese rings are described as being 24k. We do not test for 24k, so will stick with 22 and perhaps higher. Condition: Good with minor wear commensurate with age.
