Pair Antique Victorian Bangles 18k Gold Amethyst Diamonds S.J. Phillips (6644)

Antique Victorian pair of bracelets bangles. 18k gold, silver, amethysts, rose cut diamonds. Made in England 2nd half 19th century. Come with fitted cases by S.J. Phillips by appointment to the Royal Family and with original receipt from S.J. Phillips.

Measurements: Inner diameter of bangles is approximately 7 inches (18cm). Weight is 50.4 grams.

Description : Very solid gold bangles with upper section in silver, the metal used during Victorian times to show diamonds off to best advantage. The center of the tops are collette set in gold with faceted round amethysts from which run 3 tapering lines of rose cut diamonds, seemingly drizzling or melting away towards the sides. Tongue in groove clasps are very secure and small gold chains add additional security. Exceptional!!
