Antique Georgian intaglio cameo ring with later mount. Carved carnelian cameo set in 18k yellow gold. Cameo dates to 18th century or before. Unisex - suitable for a man or a woman.

Measurements: US size 6.25 (can be resized). Weight is 5.2 grams. The oval stone is approximately 11X9mm.

Description : Small, Classic signet ring, solid and secure, tapering slightly away from the bezel. Beaded raised border around the intaglio. Lovely shade of carnelian with carved depiction of an emperor / Caeser. Curly hair, beard, face seen in profile. Powerful and evocative.

Marks: No marks. Gold was acid tested to ensure metal purity.
