Antique ring. Victorian - Edwardian.  Platinum, padparadscha sapphire, sapphire. Made circa 1900 - 1910. European. 
Comes with German gemological certificate and independent USA appraisal.  
 

Measurements:

Weight is 2.6 grams. US size 5. Sapphire 1.07ct. 1.04ct diamonds.

Description :

Gemological certificate confirming that the central cushion shaped, step cut sapphire is Natural Padparadscha of Sri Lanka origin, measuring 6.36 X 5.56 X 4.28mm. No indications of heating.
A classic flower-formed ring (Marguerite as the French call it), with scalloped perimeter in white platinum, miligrained finish, each petal containing an old cut diamond. Rising in the center, held in prongs is a very rare orange-pink sapphire. 
Elegant shoulders pave set with diamonds lead to a simple band. 
Beautifully made ring with highly sought after and rare gemstone. As wearable today as it was well over a century ago.

Marks and Metal:

There is a faded mark inside the shank.      

Condition:
