Antique Meissen Porcelain Acier Motto Child Cherub Heart Balance (1466)

19th century Meissen Motto child or cherub, modelled by Acier in the 18th century.

5 1/2 inches high.

Stands on triangular base with canted corners - each with gilded, moulded flowers.

A pink lable TELES BALANCE enclosed in gold margin, names the piece.

Naked winged cherub, pale blue cloth and quiver of arrows suspended from a gold band.

He leans against a small tree stump behind him.

Early, blue crossed sword marks and impressed F.

Z and 48.

First class (no cancel marks).

No damage of any sort to be found, although the heart that should be in his hand is missing.
