Antique earrings. Natural Columbian emeralds, Old Mine cut diamonds set in 18k gold. See below for dating.
Independent appraisal as well as CISGEM report on emeralds.

Measurements: Weight is 12.0 grams. Diamonds 5.49ct; emeralds 2.61ct.

Description : Earrings for pierced ears with a hinged lever clasp for security. Classic marguerite or flower shape with a central emerald surrounded by a border of diamonds.
The emeralds are cushion cuts, rounded rectangles. Old mine cut diamonds of a very nice size and rich look. Diamonds set in gold form little petals around the central emerald.
Beautiful quality stones with lovely color to the emeralds.
The gems are clearly from the 19th century, but I believe that the wires were replaced early in the 1900's. The posts with clips are very secure.
Luxurious and great quality.

Besides an independent appraisal, the emeralds have a CISGEM report, stating their size and origin. The CISGEM (Centre for Information and Services in Gemology) is a leading laboratory in Italy, authorised by the Italian government.

Marks and Metal: Findings (clasps) are marked 750 for 18k gold and a partially illegible name that looks like 'KNIGHT'.

Condition: Good with minor wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
Both CISGEM report and independent appraisal (with value of US$38875.00) available to new owner.
