Antique Edwardian Belle Epoque earrings dangle ear pendants. Platinum over yellow gold, natural pearls and diamonds. Made circa 1910's.

Measurements: Weight is 6.2 grams. Approximately 7/8 inch (2.5cm) long. GIA certificate for pearls state that they are 9.14mm and 9.11mm respectively. See 'photo of GIA report.

Description : Surmounts are small circular diamonds enclosed in silvery platinum with a swooshing circle of pave set diamonds below. Elegance and movement in the tapering of the circle as it doubles back to the surmount.
A pair of little loops connect to a larger diamond below the surmount. The loops allow the drop to swing and sway as the wearer moves. The diamond is joined to a natural pearl. Lovely gleam and glow to both pearls and diamonds.
A tiny bar at the back of the earrings does not affect the earrings in any way. At the time, Many French dormeuse earrings had similar bars that helped hold the drops in place and add solidity to the earrings.
Posts and butterflies are easy to insert and comfortable to wear.
Earrings are extremely elegant and versatile. There modest size makes them the perfect accessory for wearing either by day or night - not too small or too big - just right. Very good quality workmanship.

Marks and Metal: We tested the earrings electronically as platinum over 14k gold. One butterfly is marked 750 for 18k gold. The other is marked 14k.

Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age.
