Antique Chinese Carved miniature Jade Sculpture Buddha Qing Dynasty China (5529)

Antique carved figure of Buddha. Natural jade. Made in China during the Qing dynasty, 1644-1911. 

Measurements: approximately 1 5/8 inches (41mm) tall and 1 5/16 inches (34mm) wide. Weighs 26.3grams. 

Carved from a single piece of jade, the seated Buddha in lotus position with crossed hands. Flowing robes beautifully depicted as are wonderful details to face. The jade is a light green, mostly uniform in color with a tiny bit of yellow-brown tinge at the very edge of the robe. Jade has a beautiful translucent quality. Fine patina.    Marks: none. 

Condition: very minor wear commensurate with age. No damage of any sort was found.
