Antique chalice / Judaica kiddush cup / goblet.
Made 19th century.
Probably Hungarian or other EUropean.
A little over 5 1/2 inches tall. Weighs 122 grams.
Round base with crimped, beaded border and engraved notches in a ring around the edge.
The slightly narrowing stem with engraved spiralling flower-form decoration leads to a knop, with petal-like divisions.
The bowl is very richly decorated with repousse and engraved decoration in panels.
Each of the 4 panels/reserves with raised floral vignettes.
Very fine workmanship and detail.
The areas between the panels are colette set with jewels - turquoise and garnets.
No legible hallmarks found.
Condition is generally very good with the exception of the rim, which is slightly out of the round.
