Deep, full round sterling silver bowl. Perfect for serving or dishing up anything, especially liquids. Serve food or punch or wine. Connected at the back to a silver, slightly tapering holder containing a silver tipped, twisted whale bone extended handle that will not conduct heat if the drink/food being served is hot. Beautifully crafted with rich look.

Inside the bowl is hallmarked in a circle or ring around the maker's mark, EM. Lion, Leopard head crowned, date letter B. (for sterling silver, London, and 1797).
