Measurements:
Chain doubled over is 16inches (41cm) long. Pendant is 1 7/8 inches (5.1cm) long. Weighs 11grams.
Description :
Stylised foliate botanic design with elongated, undulating curves - slender and elegant. Finely pave set with gems - pink and yellow sapphires as well as diamonds with pearls interspersed hinting at buds or berries.
The colored gems echo nature - we can imagine blossoms and flowers of pink and yellow with curving tendrils and fine stems.
The fine gold chain is doubled over for added interest and added strength. Near the back is a thick gold disk followed by a lobster claw and loop clasp.
Marks and Metal:
lobster clasp marked 750 (for 18k gold); disk near clasp fully hallmarked SHO & maker's mark, 750, leopard head (for London) date letter 'O'. SHO logo on other side of disk. Pendant itself also marked SHO and 750 and as well as 750 again and Italy.
Condition:

THE STORY:
Even we deviate when we find something that is simply beautiful and piques our interest. We usually stick to antique jewelry, but this pendant necklace was irresistible. I wore it myself once while I was in the midst of taking the 'photos and immediately it drew attention and got a lot of compliments. There is a plethora of information about Sarah Ho, who was born in Hong Kong, but is based in London and is known for her love of rare and colorful gemstones. Her work is elegant and combines a glance at the past with contemporary narrative. Each piece tells a story. Another feature of her work ethics is her cognizance of sustainability and responsible sourcing of gems.
