Antique Victorian Art Nouveau necklace long chain. 14k gold. Made circa 1900.
Measurements: Approximately 61inches (150cm) long. Weighs 19.8 grams.
Description : Extremely long and elegant gold chain necklace. Sections of solid gold, small oval links with periodic stations of larger links, somewhat navette in shape, scrolling and modelled with fine detail - beading, scrolls, waves and curves. Art Nouveau aesthetic. The length of this chain makes it extremely versatile: it can be worn wound around the neck multiple times. A small ring clasp makes it easy to wind that one extra time. Could also be worn as a huge statement wound around the arm. Very beautiful and very good quality.
Marks: loop near clasp is marked for 14k. The previous owner believed the chain to be 15ct, but we are going with the mark near the clasp (14k).
