Antique Georgian earrings ear pendants. Chrysoberyl and amethysts. Metal with gold wires. Made in Iberian Peninsula - Portugal or Spain, 18th century.
Measurements: Weight is 18.4 grams. Length is 2 inches (5cm) not including wires.
Description :Long, dangling earrings in sections joined by hinges. Beautifully set yellow chrysoberyl with fine gold-colored metal beaded border. Surmount flares towards the hinge and is followed by a pair of disc shapes, the larger at the bottom is centered by a purple amethyst, which contrasts beautifully with the yellow chrysoberyl. Wires are later replacements.
Marks and Metal: No marks as is to be expected.
