As per the professional lab report: One pair of 18 karat (tested) yellow gold Sapphire, Ruby and Diamond earrings. Each pierced style earring features two oval rubies and two oval sapphires, each prong set with an entourage of round diamonds, suspended in an alternating fashion below a curved vertical bar bead set with 10 round diamonds, atop a post and hinged back.
These are natural, stones of great fire, colour and quality. Earrings are stunning.

THE STORY:
I was very lucky to visit Myanmar in the tiny window before the military regime took over. At the time, there was great hope for democratic change in the country. During my visit, I managed to buy these earrings - actual Burmese rubies and sapphires from the country Burma (now Myanmar). With the sad subsequent history of this special country, I feel it is a great priviledge to own them.
