Antique Georgian / Louis XVIII cluster ring. 18k yellow gold, silver, citrine and diamonds. Made in France circa 1800.
Measurements: Approximately US size 7.5. Weighs 2.8 grams. Bezel 11-12mm in diameter.
Description: Round cluster ring with a large citrine in the center. Surrounded by a ring of tiny rosecut diamonds, set in silver to show them off to better effect. Rounded, closed back is typical of Georgian jewelry as is the simple gold hoop.
Marks: As is to be expected, no marks found - if there were marks, they are entirely worn. Gold was acid tested to ensure metal purity.
