Antique earrings ear pendants. Platinum, diamonds, emeralds. Made in the England, United Kingdom, between 1900 and 1935. UK Lab and USA (GIA) independent appraisals. Measurements: Weight is 6.6 grams. 2.23ct diamonds appraised as F-G VS. 2.10ct emeralds appraised as Colombian and F1 ie the lowest grade for minor clarity enhancement possible. Description : Stunning dangle drop ear pendants. Lever-back platinum wires and closures fixed to upper surmount, the first in a line of two round diamonds, collet-set in platinum. The 2nd diamond is connected via loops on either side so that every part can swing and sway as the wearer moves. Bottoms are squares placed at the diagonal - with the pointed corner at the top. A concave square border of diamonds encloses a yellow gold collet-set emerald. At the corners, the diamonds are set as fleur-de-lis in miligrain platinum. Diamonds are of the best color and quality (F-G and VS). The gold collet within seems to float slightly above the diamonds, which form a beautiful back-drop for the emeralds. Emeralds are an incredible bright green, gleaming and mysteriously dark, depending on how the light catches them. They are emerald cut as squares with very slightly canted corners. The London Laboratory gave them their best grade regarding origin and enhancement ie Colombian, F1. The color is truly beautiful. Fabulous workmanship and design. Eye-catching, luxurious, top quality. Marks and Metal: No marks. Metal was acid tested to ensure purity. Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age.
