A Classic original Ancient Greek double ring. The shanks are plain gold cylindrical bands. Center of each with an elongated navette-shaped garnet set in pulled gold collette frame surrounded by twisted ropework border. The space between the two rings is topped with a round, cabochon amethyst, set the same way as the deep red garnets. The size of this ring makes it very wearable and comfortable almost 2 1/2 thousand years after it was made.
Marks: no marks as is to be expected of jewelry made in the Ancient Greek world.
Condition: very good, especially considering the age of this ring. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
