Vintage earrings ear hoops. Tri color 18k gold. Made in Paris, France by Cartier. Come in original fitted Cartier box.
Measurements: Weight is 9.5 grams. Approximtaely 1.25cm in diameter.
Description : Small Ear hoops made of 3 tones of gold, known as Trinity by Cartier. (Yellow, rose and white gold). In French they are called demies creoles or half hoops. Clips with original Cartier light rubber cushioning so that they don't pinch your lobes.
Original, red Cartier box with gold trim and fitted to hold these earrings. Cushioned satin inner lid.
To say that these are a Cartier classic, is an understatement. Cartire has been They are highly versatile and can be worn with any outfit from jeans to work. Quality workmanship goes without saying.
Cartier introduced the Trinity concept in 1924 and it has remained an iconic concept to this day. It is therefore difficult to date these earrings exactly, but we believe they are about 1970-90.
Cartier boxes alone have begun selling for hundreds of dollars apiece and it's a great advantage to have this box with the earrings.
Marks and Metal: Inner folds of the hoops with 750 Cartier. Outside: Cartier maker's mark, French eagle head for 18k gold, numbered 295598. Small rubber pads with Cartier insignia (intertwining C's). Cartier box with Cartier Paris embossed inside lid and Cartier 4502 underneath.
