Art Deco Pendant Necklace Peridot Pearl Platinum & Gold (#4372)

Antique, Art Deco pendant necklace. Peridot, natural pearls, platinum and gold. Made 1920's.

Peridot is 1.25ct. Measurements: length of gold chain 15 inches; length of pendant 45mm (over 1 3/4inches); weight 4.2grams; peridot approximately 1.18-1.30ct with a diameter of 5.5mm.

Pendant has a layer of platinum over a layer of gold, typical of antique jewelry. Top of pendant is platinum. Bottom of pendant is 18k gold. Later gold chain is 14k. Pendant is classic Art Deco geometric design. Natural pearls suspend platinum linear shapes that lead the eye to a platinum ring with natural pearls at the cardinal points and surrounding a central peridot. Beautiful green color and great gleam to the gemstone. A later gold chain has been included for convenience.

No hallmarks found on the pendant, but tested for platinum and 18k. The chain has hallmarks for 14k gold.
