Vintage Necklace Bib 22k Gold 26ct Emeralds Diamonds Retro Appraisal India (6805)

Vintage Necklace bib collar. 22k gold, emeralds and diamonds. Made mid 20th century.

Measurements: Weight is 50.80 grams. 26.0 ct emeralds. 0.94ct diamonds.

Description : Wonderfully flexible work of art in gems. Tightly set zig-zag lines of emeralds, each consisting of 4 gems, fitting together like a broad green river with lightening bolts of diamonds at stations approximately an inch apart. Emeralds set in yellow gold. Diamonds set in white gold. Gold chain complements the length of the collar with S-shaped clasp. Can be lengthened or shortened according to owner's requirements. Looks superb when worn. This necklace came from the personal collection of a maharajah who was slowly selling some of his collection.

Marks and Metal: No marks to be found. Gold was acid tested to ensure metal purity.
