Antique Art Deco earrings ear pendants. Platinum, diamonds. Made in England, United Kingdom, by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd, by appointment to H.M the KING. Circa 1930.
Independent appraisal.

Measurements: Weight is 6.2 grams. Length is just under 1 1/4 inches (3cm). 1.16ct diamonds.

Description : Striking looking and elegant pair of Art Deco earrings. Very finely set diamonds in an openwork, geometric mount with scrolling terminals at the top and triangular bottom. Small loops link to larger round diamonds - very clear, light and clean that swing and sway as the wearer moves. Finally, another group of loops connect to tiny baguette, tapered elongated diamonds that will also swing independently.
French screwbacks, typical of the period, are suitable for anyone, including non pierced ears.
Workmanship is extremely fine. The platinum shows off the diamonds very well and the quality of the diamonds is very good, as is the design. The elegant result is in beautiful gleaming and glinting earrings that will catch every eye. Classy, quality.

The Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company was renowned for their extremely fine quality of workmanship. They were rewarded with an appointment to the King, who was George V at the time.
The inside of the box reflects this saying: By appointment to H.M. The King The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd 112 Regent Street, London W1. Fitted box with velvet bottom, silk top, red leather outside.
