Antique Victorian Vintage gold hoop earrings 18k big gold hoops (7574)

Antique vintage gold hoop earrings.  18k gold. Came from a great Victorian/Georgian jewelry collection. 
 

Measurements:

Weight is 15.3 grams. Diameter approximately 1 3/8 inches (3.5cm). 

Description :

Striking bright gold rounded circular hoops. The upper surface with cylindrical borders around slightly recessed ground on which is a pattern of diagonally placed foliage intertwined by a rope of gold design. 
Gold wires slip into catches to make them comfortable to wear and secure.

Marks and Metal:

Wires with two unknown gold marks.  Gold was electronically tested as 'high 18k'. 
     

Condition:

Good with negligible wear commensurate with age and use.  Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.

These earrings were the personal favorites of a great antique collector. While she owned a great deal of museum-quality items, this was the pair of earrings she invariably wore. RIP.
