Antique Victorian brooch charm pendant. 15ctgold and diamonds. Made in England, United Kingdom, circa 1880 - 1890.

Description : Naturalistically modelled as a pug dog. The body in profile, the head turns to the front, to the viewer. Very realistic. Muscles depicted and fine textured detail indicates coat. Little curly tail, collar, and fabulous facial features with tiny diamonds set as eyes. Lifelike and commanding attention.
This little dog is suitable to be worn by a man or a woman.
It has a hinged c-clasp pin and a loop so that it can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant.
Workmanship and sculpting fabulous.
Marks and Metal: no marks. Gold was acid tested.
