Antique Victorian earrings. 10k gold and cushion-cut paste. Most likely made in the United Kingdom, circa 1880 - 1900.
Measurements: Weight is 1.8 grams. Approximately 5/8 inches (27mm) long, not including the wires.
Description : Small in size, but great in look: Original, thin gold wires with triangular surmount finely adorned with bright-cut engraving and scalloped edges. A little like a Christmas tree in shape. Loops support beautiful bright cushion cut paste that gleam like the brightest diamonds. Held in deeply scooped gold mounts. Paste with simple facets and high above the girdle, adding to their luscious look.
The loops allow the paste drops to swing and sway as the wearer moves.
