Antique Old Mine cut diamond earrings ear studs mounted in 18k white gold. Made in the United Kingdom, circa 1920.

Description : The cushion-ey rectangular shape of Old Mine Cut diamonds are the most luscious diamond cut in my opinion. This pair is set in white gold in a classic design, used from the Victorian through the Edwardian and Belle Epoque periods. The posts are connected to a circle of gold with the prongs flaring out from the circle. Between each prong is a heart shaped in gold that add strength and security to the mount while allowing light to enter from the sides.
