The steps are also graduated in length. Ring appears to hug the finger. \u003cbr\u003eThe center and focus of this ring is the magnificent Kashmir sapphire set in the center, at the highest point. It is oval in shape. The color is exactly what a good Kashmir gem should like - a deep, velvety blue, gleaming as the light catches it at various angles. \u003cbr\u003eThe steps are set with Old European cut diamonds.  \u003cbr\u003eThe bezel is raised above the level of the finger by an openwork linear-patterned grille that allows light to enter from behind the stones and adds brilliance and sparkle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003eMarks and Metal:\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA hallmark on the outside of the shank with 585 mark (for 14k gold). \u003cbr\u003e     \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCondition:\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBezel in good condition with negligible wear commensurate with age.
