Antique Art Nouveau Ring Diamonds Pearl 18k Gold Small Late Victorian (6333)

Small antique Art Nouveau late Victorian ring. 18k Gold, diamonds and pearl. Made circa 1890 -1910.

Measurements: US size 4.5. Weighs 2.3 grams.

Description: A small ring, beautiful designed in flowing Art Nouveau style. Simple gold band leads to bezel with silver or platinum top (too small to test) pave set with diamonds on the shoulders. The bezel in openwork flowers made up of collet-set diamonds and with crossover diamond and pearls in the center.

Ring comes from France and is believed to be French. The light and airy design and fine workmanship testify to this origin.

Marks: no marks. Gold was acid tested to ensure metal purity.
