Sheer luxury! Vintage Van Cleef & Arpels VCA 18k gold key chain in lion form. Made in France. 

Measures 3 cm long, excluding the chain. Weighs 17.5 grams. 

Modelled as a recumbent lion with echoes of the sphynx in pose and demeanour. Beautiful detail to the furry coat and muscular thighs. Marvellous tail whiplashes and

curls around the body. Paws, facial features all depicted with delightful detail. 

Gold chain with clever opening mechanism including a disk in the center and terminating in a golden ball. The disk slips through an opening in a loop on the lion's

back and the ball prevents the chain from opening. 

Profusely hallmarked: the disk has a logo, two French gold marks and a serial number 78505. Underneath the lion is VCA OR 750 with a serial numbers below. (see

'photos).
