Vintage, Estate faux gemstone jewel cape or cloak clasp. Made at least 50 years ago. 

Total length, including the clips is 6 1/4 inches.

When women were a little better dressed than today, a cloak/cape/cardigan was held closed at the neck with a little jewelled chain with clips on either side. This

particular clip has immitation diamond and sapphires set in silver-coloured metal (faux silver or platinum). Beautifully made. Cheerful and useful and ready to be

put back into use on your favourate piece of clothing. 

No hallmarks/signatures.
