Antique, Georgian figural seal / watch fob. Made early 19th century.

Measures 22mm (7/8 inch) long; 19mm (3/4 inch) wide. Weighs 16.4grams.

Metal: sold to me as pinchbeck. Acid test stays for 10k.

Gorgeous figural watch fob / seal. Modelled in the form of a poodle standing on a stepped base. Wonderful detail from the long ears to the curly coat and pom-pom cut of his legs.Fine detail to rounded outside of rectangular base.

The seal is set with a large citrine. Foild backed, as was typical in the Georgian era. The foil is somewhat disintegrating, as can be clearly seen in the pictures. The stone has a definate pink tone.

Loops for hanging the fob on a chain.

Good condition, commensurate with age.
