Handpainted and artist signed porcelain plaque portrait miniature of a little girl child dressed in a Harlequin / clown's costume. 19th century France. KPM quality or better.
Comes in double frame with gold velvet inbetween.
Outer measurements are 14 1/2inchs wide by 17 1/2 inches long. Frame is gilt wood with quietly elegant green stripe on top. Great quality. The inner gilt bronze / ormolu frame in the form

of a bow with medallion, flowers and sheathes of wheat. Georgian style gadrooning.
Oval porcelain plaque is (sight) 9 1/2inches long. A little girl with wavy blond-brown hair and dressed in a sky blue (celeste) and white harlequin outfit looks over to the right. Quality of

the painting is superb - the peachy skin looks totally realistic and soft. Cute snub nose and blue eyes. Signed by the artist M. Bironneau-Dupre.
