Rare Emille Galle art glass enamelled lidded box. Made in France, circa 1880-1900.


Measures approx 6 3/4 inches in diameter and 3 inches high.


Round shape, narrowing towards the upper rim with a concave waist. Fitted lid. Ground glass is

textured like orange peel and has a pale yellow-green tinge. The surface has a continuous frieze

of foliage and flowers which look like fuchsias or orchids in various tones of blue, cream, tan

and pink/purple browns. A bee in yellow and brown hovers over one of the flowers.


Signed in cameo on the box.


Condition is excellent. NO damage / restoration of any sort.
