Antique / Vintage Man / Woman's ring. High 22 carat gold, diamonds, gem and enamelling. Made in India in 1948. 

US size 7.5 and will fit many men as well as women. Weighs 21.8 grams. Just under 1 inch (just under 24mm) accross and about the same lengthwise.

Garnet at least 1.50 carats. Diamonds weigh approx 0.75carats. 
 

Very large, classic Mughal Indian ring. The seller told me that it was custom made in 1948. Large faceted garnet in the center, surrounded by irregularly  cut

diamonds set in gold. Gems are foilbacked and deep set.  Rounded mount with very rich enamelling in red, blue and green on a white ground. Classic floral theme and geometric border / edge in blue and

white.

One tiny loss in the enamel which is very likely original to the manufacture (shown magnified in the 'photos), but otherwise very good condition.
