Vintage, estate figurative novelty brooch in the form of a hare / bunny rabbit. 18K yellow gold, diamonds and rubies. Made by Hammerman Brothers, circa 1970's.

Measurements: 1 7/8 inch long; Weighs 15.9 grams.

Exquisitely made, amusing brooch / pin in the form of a Rabbit/hare. Long, long ears, big fluffy tail, set with a round diamond, textured furry body, a fabulous expression on his face as he turns around to

look behind him and peers with great ruby eyes from behind his flashing whiskers. Enviably long eyelashes and the Bugs Bunny teeth are in the form of a pair of baguette cut diamonds. Absolutely Fabulous! The

workmanship is excellent and the comic yet seriously made design top quality.

THe back is hallmarked with the H mark for Hammerman and 18K.
