Sterling silver, gilt washed, French ladle, dating from the 19th century in the Art Nouveau style. Measures 12 1/4inches long. Weighs a little over 3 oz. Round bowl is gilt washed and has a fine spout - clearly to ladle a thin liquid, such as punch. A silver hallmark is on the side of the bowl, near the rim. The long handle is typically Art Nouveau with scrolls and flowers - all very delicate, elegantand assymetric. Reserves where a monogram could be engraved are blank. Condition is excellent. No damage of any sort.
