Antique Caucasian tapestry weave and embroidery on wood picture frame. Approx 100 years old, or more. Measures 8inches accross and a little under 9 1/2inches high. Shades of orange and red bordered by tiny brown stiched border. Thicker, coarser brown embroidered patterns on the main field. Basic geometric symbolic designs. Attached to wooden frame. Darkening canvas attached to the back shows clear signs of very good age. Condition: excellent - no tears/rips/missing bits.
