Vintage Hardstone and silver-coloured metal belt hook and hand mirror. Made in China, early 20th century.

Measures 9 3/8 inches long. 3 5/8 inches wide.

Oval mirror contained in a silver-coloured metal mount with fine chased decorative wings and applied filigree borders. Rope twist borders and decorative sides. The

top is set with a hand carved hardstone openwork depiction of a dragon in a beautiful background. Soft green tones to light brown. The belt hook handle, in a cream-

brown hardstone, also deeply carved, featuring mythological creatures in deep openwork carving. <P><P>

COndition: the top oval plaque is in good condition with no damage of any sort. The belt hook handle is damaged and has losses, shown clearly in the 'photos.
