Estate Ring. 18k white gold and diamonds. Made by Cartier, circa 1975 and no longer in production. 

US size 6 3/4. Approx 1.75 carats of the best quality diamonds. Weighs 18.2 grams.

Width of bezel is approx 14mm (1/2 inch). Total length is approx 21mm (3/4inch). 

The most obvious thing about this ring is how fabulous it looks on the finger. Truly glamorous and stunning. It consists of a wide arc of diamonds set in white gold

marquis / navette shaped cells, hinting at a foliate theme. The exquisite setting and craftmanship is highlighted by the en tremblant setting - the diamonds actually

tremble / shake as the wearer moves, thus adding to the mesmerising effect of the shimmering gemstones.

Both top and bottom of bezel are set with a row of pave set diamonds, again showing the quality of the workmanship and the total luxury of the finish.

Hallmarked in the shank: Cartier CD47192  750 55 and Cartier logo.
