Antique, Art Deco Pendant. DEAREST Acrostic - the first letter of each gemstone spells out a word.  This pendant, made of Platinum, set with Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz was made circa 1920s by CARTIER.

The pendant is 3/4 inch (19mm) long, excluding the loop. It weighs 1.7 grams.  

A loop suspends a long, rectangular pendant. 34 rose cut diamonds form a border around the coloured gems, which spell out the word DEAREST. This was the ultimate in sentimental and romantic jewellery of the Victorian and Art Deco eras and also reflects their love of fun and mystery at that time. Quality of the workmanship is excellent.  

It is extremely difficult to see the CARTIER signature on the side of the pendant. I have tried to show it in the 'photos.
