Antique / Vintage Retro earrings. 18carat yellow gold set with diamonds. Made circa 1940, probably in Europe.

Measurements: a tad under 1 1/4 inches long; Weigh 10.3 grams.

Asymmetrically, fan shaped with a strong Retro feel. The center of the fans, like the heart of a sea-shell, set with a colette-set diamond. Scalloped lobes fanning

around the diamond, ending in a curved, elongated segment. First segment on the 'short' side is finely set with a row of round diamonds. Like most earrings of the

period, they are clip-ons, although this could easilly be altered if required by the new owner.For their size and solid appearance, the earrings are suprisingly

light, making them very comfortable to wear. Extremely smart and suitable to wear with any kind of outfit: day/night; smart / casual.

Hallmarked on the sides of the clips with 750 (for 18k gold) and 1832AL.
